CDS Exam Syllabus-CDS Exam Pattern,Question Pattern-CDS 2015 Exam Syllabus

CDS Exam Syllabus Details : The UPSC has given recruitment Notification by conducting CDS Exam 2015 for various vacancies in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy.The candidates who are appearing for CDS Exam 2015 should know the syllabus.The CDS Exam Syllabus contains 3 Papers namely 1.English 2.General Knowledge, 3. Elementary Mathematics.

Paper-1: English

The questions will be asked in thse paper to test the candidates  understanding of English and workmanlike use of words.

Paper-2 : General Knowledge

The Paper 2 Contains General Knowledge.

PAPER – 3: ELEMENTARY MATHEMATICS:


The questions will be asked from the

1.Arithmetic
    a.Number System-Natural numbers
    b.Integers
    c.Rational and Real numbers
    d.Fundamental Operations addition
    e.subtraction
    f.Square roots
    g.Decimal, fractions
    h.Unitary method
    i. time and distance
    j.time and work
    k.percentages
    l.applications to simple and compound interest,
   m.profit and loss
   n.ratio and proportion
   o.variation
